BEIJING, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "Tiangong Kaiwu," a runway show exploring contemporary Chinese style, took place on the evening of November 2 at the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum (Xiannongtan). Presented under the guidance of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, and hosted by CCTV.com and the Beijing Xicheng District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the event drew inspiration from two sources: the museum's "Celestial Palace" caisson ceiling and the Ming dynasty technical encyclopedia Tiangong Kaiwu (The Exploitation of the Works of Nature). A runway presentation and cultural market brought these influences to life through contemporary expressions of Chinese aesthetics. A runway presentation at the "Tiangong Kaiwu" fashion show in Beijing. The historic Xiannongtan complex in Xicheng District provided the setting for the first in-person runway event in CCTV.com's "Neo-Chinese Style" series. Following a nationwide call for entries and expert review, 72 pieces of jewelry and 90 looks were selected for the showcase. Taking its cue from China's 24 solar terms, the runway presentation traced the changing seasons. Designers looked to traditional ceramics and other decorative objects, reinterpreting their motifs, glaze colors and forms through contemporary cuts and tailoring. The resulting looks evoked the shifting moods and rhythms of the traditional seasonal calendar. Four themed markets accompanied the show: "Tilling: Sustaining the Body," "Reading: Grounding the Mind," "Fishing and Woodcutting: Nourishing the Spirit" and "Heaven and Earth: Returning to Nature." Together, they featured traditional crafts and heritage-inspired designs, long-established brands and local cuisine. Building on the cultural vision of the 2025 cross-platform program "Neo-Chinese Style", the event brought fashion into a historic architectural setting, connecting traditional craftsmanship and established Chinese brands with contemporary design. Conceived as a national showcase for new work in Chinese fashion, it sought to encourage international cultural exchange and introduce contemporary Chinese style to wider audiences around the world.

BEIJING and BRIDGEWATER, Mass., Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals (Stock Code: 603087. SH) announced positive topline results from GRADUAL-3, a Phase III clinical study evaluating once-monthly administration of its independently developed glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA), bofanglutide injection, in Chinese participants with obesity or overweight. GRADUAL-3 is the first completed Phase IIIb sequential study globally to evaluate the maintenance of weight-loss efficacy with once-monthly administration using a randomized controlled trial (RCT) design. The study was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of transitioning patients from an intensive treatment regimen of bofanglutide administered once every two weeks for 52 consecutive weeks to a once-monthly regimen for weight maintenance. GRADUAL-3 is a Phase IIIb maintenance study based on the GRADUAL-1 trial. Participants with obesity or overweight who completed 52 weeks of treatment with bofanglutide administered once every two weeks in GRADUAL-1 and met the eligibility criteria were enrolled. Participants were randomized, according to their last administered dose (24 mg or 48 mg), to receive either bofanglutide or placebo once monthly for 24 weeks. The primary endpoint was the percentage change in body weight from baseline after 24 weeks of treatment. Figure 1. Study Flowchart After 24 weeks of treatment, the mean percentage changes in body weight from baseline were 0.41% and −0.12% in the bofanglutide 24 mg and 48 mg once-monthly groups, respectively, compared with 8.52% in the placebo group (both P<0.0001). These results demonstrate that, following substantial weight loss achieved with 52 weeks of bofanglutide administered once every two weeks, transitioning to once-monthly administration can effectively prevent weight regain following discontinuation of the intensive treatment regimen and maintain previously achieved weight-loss benefits. This study provides a new therapeutic paradigm for the long-term weight management of individuals with obesity or overweight. In addition, once-monthly bofanglutide treatment maintained improvements in cardiometabolic parameters, including waist circumference, blood pressure, and lipid levels. Bofanglutide demonstrated a favorable safety and tolerability profile across all dose groups, with no new safety signals identified. The most common adverse events during treatment were gastrointestinal adverse events in nature, most of which were mild to moderate in severity and transient. Detailed results from GRADUAL-3 are planned for presentation at future scientific conferences and publication in international peer-reviewed journals.
Jointly developed model focuses on efficient adaptation and international deployment SINGAPORE, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- BYD and autonomous driving technology company MOGOX (trading as Zhidao Network Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing) jointly unveiled an 8.5-metre right-hand-drive Level 4 autonomous B90 electric bus at Singapore Urban Mobility Week (SUMW 2026), marking the model's global debut. BYD and MOGOX Unveil 8.5-Metre Right-Hand-Drive Level 4 Autonomous Bus at SUMW 2026 Built on BYD's electric bus platform and equipped with MOGOX's proprietary MOGO AutoPilot system, the vehicle is designed for international markets. Its defining feature is efficient adaptation: meeting different traffic rules, road conditions and operating requirements while reducing repetitive development. BYD × MOGOX: Designed for Global Deployment BYD contributes electric bus engineering and manufacturing capabilities, while MOGOX brings autonomous driving software, system integration and operational experience. Integrating hardware and software during manufacturing helps improve compatibility and supports scalable production and deployment. Efficient Adaptation: From Vehicle Design to Operations The bus features a low-floor layout and ultra-short rear overhang for better manoeuvrability on narrow urban roads and easier boarding for elderly passengers and people with reduced mobility. Combining cameras with solid-state LiDAR, MOGO AutoPilot has been localised for left-hand traffic and right-hand-drive markets, including Singapore. It is designed to navigate mixed traffic, intersections and approaches to bus stops. MOGOX has also optimised driving models, sensor layouts and hardware for long-duration operations. Its modular architecture covers seven adaptation areas: regulations, applications, vehicle platforms, autonomous driving configurations, operating conditions, fleet management and local service networks. These reusable capabilities are intended to shorten deployment cycles. Singapore: A Gateway to International Markets Singapore is a key starting point for MOGOX's overseas expansion. The company secured a contract for Singapore's first official Level 4 autonomous bus project and passed the Land Transport Authority's Milestone 1 (M1) test. It has also partnered with ComfortDelGro Bus on autonomous mobility initiatives and local workforce training. Beyond Singapore, MOGOX is cooperating with Sales-Lentz Group and Clément Bayard in Luxembourg, and with LG Electronics and BYDA in South Korea. In China, its MOGOBUS vehicles have been deployed in more than 20 cities across transit, tourism and shuttle applications. Through its collaboration with BYD, MOGOX aims to turn proven autonomous driving capabilities into adaptable, factory-integrated products that can move more efficiently from local testing towards practical public transport deployment worldwide.
